Aloha!

Christmas is around the corner! I hope everybody is having a great Christmas week so far! Last week, I got a text message from one of my family clients from 2 years ago, and they asked me if I was available for a family photoshoot during their stay in Hawaii. It is always amazing to hear back from the familiar faces :) Usually during Dec-Jan time, I am not on the island so this is my first time staying on Oahu for this season in years. So I honestly didn’t know how popular December is for a photo shoot!

I met Joe’s family in 2018, when they had their 10th year wedding anniversary. Joe was so caring and romantic to make their 10th anniversary something special - so he prepared a cute surprise on a beach with his kids. There was a cute blanket, cushions, macaroons, and signs for the kids to hold saying “Mom, will you marry dad again?”.

It was absolutely adorable! The kids were excited about this surprise, and Joe looked a bit nervous about the “surprise” :) When Janet showed up, she was like “what’s going on?” with a big smile, and when we saw her kids and cute set up on the beach, her smile got even bigger! It was cool that the mom also could join the moment!

Shortly after, we got rained on. Rain of blessing :) So we moved our location and jumped into the pool!

And this year they came back to Hawaii for their vacation and kindly enough to contact me for a family photo shoot! It was so nice to meet them again, and see how kids are growing but they haven’t changed at all :) We hit the road and met up on the east side of the island this time. One of my questions to them was “Do you want to jump into the water again?” and hoping them to say YES. Then here is what happened this morning.

So good to see you guys again and share the moments with you at one of my favorite beaches! It’s always nice to enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian nature from the land, sky and underwater :) After this shot, they went in and floated and swam in the water and we got great shots!! Can’t wait to edit more photos for you soon!
