Aloha!
March will be an exciting month for me since I have three business trips in the month. In the beginning, I will be shooting in a national park in Utah, then attending a conference in Austin TX in the middle, and at the end of the month I will be visiting Japan for a wedding shoot. It’s my first time visiting back in Arizona/Utah area after Feb 2018 - a surprise proposal at Horse Shoe Bend with Alfred from Indonesia. I used to live in Flagstaff when I was attending NAU for my master’s degree, but didn’t have time/money/car back then, so it’s always exciting to go back to my first American “home” with some free time :)
Last few times I visited National Parks, I was amazed by their nature. I took some nice photos, and I thought, I bet everybody wants to take great photos when they travel. So I came up with this idea that I wanted to run a photo lesson at beautiful places. If you have a DSLR camera but not familiar with how to use it to make what you want to shoot, and if you can come to N.Arizona or S. Utah in the first week of March, this is for you!
I am thinking to visit including but not limited to: Arches National Park, Goblin Valley State Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Coyote Buttes, Vermilion Cliffs National Monument. The lesson will be rather casual manner. You get to learn how to use your DSLR camera in manual mode properly, learn about filters, composition, lighting, exposure, speed, and possibly off-camera flash use.
It is a short notice so I am not sure if anyone is interested and can make it, but I am available from March 4 until March 8. I also am looking for anyone who wants to have a photo shoot in Northern Arizona/South Utah in the period of time. If you are interested, please inquire on my contact form and please mention what you are interested in.
Thank you very much!!
